Continuing Training
Quality instruction is highly valued at UCR. To support that value, TADP supports ALL graduate student instructors who would like additional teaching professional development. TADP offers consultations, workshops, and teaching observations. For more information, please email Dr. Rachel Falkenstern at rfalkens@ucr.edu.
Per Graduate Division regulations, if average scores on a TA's student evaluations of their teaching fall below 3, the TA must complete Continuing Training to receive approval to continue serving as a Teaching Assistant at UCR. TADP's Continuing Training Program provides TAs with consultations, workshops, teaching observations, and other supports to improve their teaching skills.
