Making up Orientation and/or Prep Courses:

Make up for missed attendance at the live Orientation and/or Prep Courses may be accomplished online or in the Media Library. Both methods include viewing the event and answering questions. Online requires enrollment in the TADP Blackboard site, Tools for Teaching Assistants. If you need to be enrolled, please contact TADP at tadp@ucr.edu with your request. The Media Library method requires viewing the event and completing a set of worksheets.

In addition, graduate students that miss Orientation are required to attend an additional workshop, titled "Make-Up Orientation Workshop". This workshop is offered twice during each quarter and should be registered for by clicking on the Focus Workshop Registration link on our home page. Registration for workshops begins the first full week of classes for the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters.

To download the worksheets, please click here.*

While it is permissable to watch the DVDs in groups, TAs must complete the worksheets without collaborating with other teaching assistants.  Answers on your worksheets should reflect your own thoughts and opinions.

To view the DVDs on campus, please visit the Media Library, in
CHASS Interdisciplinary Building South 2117. DVDs must be viewed at the library.
